Job Overview
This position is responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient patient experience while managing essential administrative and insurance related functions within the practice. This role combines patient communication, scheduling, insurance coordination, and front office support to ensure smooth daily operation and accurate patient accounts. This position serves as one of the primary points of contact for patients and plays a crucial role in maintaining professionalism, organization, and superior customer service.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
Greeting patients professionally, enthusiastically and warmly upon arrival
Answer incoming phone calls and assisting patients with scheduling and practice questions
Maintaining a positive, courteous and patient focused environment
Manage patient check in and check out processes efficiently.
Schedule patient appointments in their appropriate operatories and time slots
Confirm appointments and manage patient reminders
Maintain accurate patient records and demographics in their charts
Scan, upload and organize patient documentation
Collect copays, balance and payments at time of service
Accurate insurance verification prior to appointments and while a patient is in the chair.
Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
If you feel you are someone who works well with others, is outgoing, friendly, easy to work with and loves to learn we would love to talk with you. If you have experience in the dental field that is a plus. Experience with TDO software is not required but is a plus as well.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
