About the Role
Provide expert lactation and infant-feeding support to new parents through home and virtual visits, helping families meet their feeding goals with evidence-based, compassionate care.
What you'll do
- Assess and support breastfeeding/chest-feeding, pumping, and combination feeding
- Develop feeding care plans; document and coordinate with the care team
- Educate families and troubleshoot common feeding challenges
Requirements
- Current IBCLC certification in good standing
- Willingness to complete FCBC; professional liability insurance (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable transportation for in-home visits in [region]
Preferred
- NPI; experience with Medicaid populations; bilingual a plus
