- Support meal assembly by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery to cooking stations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and slicing machines
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sanitizing work surfaces, floors, and storage areas regularly
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep activities and meet service deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
