Primary Purpose:
Provide clerical support to the Senior Director and Head Start administrative office.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

High school diploma or GED certificate, some college preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work cohesively on an interdisciplinary team

Proficiency with computer systems and software applications (database, spreadsheets, word processing and some desktop publishing)

Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records

Ability to organize, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
Experience:

Minimum three years related experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
-
Model HCDE and Head Start’s mission, vision, and values.

Assist with processing and routing contracts and Memorandums of Understanding.
-
Assist with Board Agenda Submission System input and workflow forms.
-
Support and attend policy council meetings, trainings, and events.
-
Assist with Timeclock input and verification.
-
Assist with Procurement Card (P-card) reconciliation for the division.
-
Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments as well as maintaining the calendar for the Senior Director and other personnel as assigned by the Senior Director.

Maintain good public relations with department personnel, clients, and the public.

Keep informed and comply with state, department, and division policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.

Answer telephones and assist parents, staff, and clients as needed.

Sort, distribute, and/or deliver mail and other documents in a timely manner.

Maintain confidentiality of information.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
