- Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, recipes, and portion standards.
- Ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and at proper serving temperatures.
- Accommodate resident dietary needs, including special diets, allergies, and texture modifications.
- Present food attractively and consistently, following Mosaic dining standards.
- Step in to assist with plating, garnishing, and serving during peak dining times.
- Provide courteous, respectful, and personalized service to residents and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience and fostering positive relationships
- Kitchen Cleanliness & Sanitation
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
- Follow Mosaic’s cleaning schedules and infection control standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Ability to prepare a variety of foods skillfully and efficiently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Prior experience working with therapeutic or specialized diets.
- ServSafe, Food Handlers or equivalent food safety certification.
