Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Industrial Equipment Installation & Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment within manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across various operational processes. At the moment, this role will be part time on an as needed basis, we do provide flexible schedule due to the nature of the role. The jobs this role will be responsible for are different every day, one day could be doing mechanical work, like installing conveyors and anchoring them down, another day would be running conduits, and wiring valves and relays.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and calibrate industrial machinery and equipment according to schematics, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and extend lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Diagnose complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and low/high voltage circuits.
- Conduct repairs including welding ( welding as applicable), electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and component replacements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting schematics, electrical blueprints, and system upgrades to optimize equipment performance.
Skills
- Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical systems repair.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting, schematics interpretation, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage/ high voltage wiring, and industrial electrician tasks is a plus.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely (certification preferred) and use precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to address internal client needs efficiently.
- Knowledge of welding standards (if applicable) along with safety protocols for working at heights or with high-voltage systems.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
