Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the touch bistro POS system.
- Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and specials.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Uphold a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification is a plus.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous.
