I’m a male quadriplegic looking to hire a live-in personal care attendant to work directly with me to help me with living independently in the community. No experience is necessary; training provided. If you are dependable, kindhearted, and want work that generally matters, keep reading.
The position is for a live-in PCA and the following schedule for total of 28 hours per week:
- Saturday & Sunday morning from 8 AM to 1 PM
- Friday & Saturday bedtime from 10 PM to midnight
- Every day from 4 AM to 4:30 AM (only 30 minutes, but pays 2 hours)
Other shifts are available, but this is the bare minimum schedule at this time. I would rely on you to cover other shifts as needed.
Housing, which includes a private bedroom and full bath and full access to the common areas is a condition of employment and at no cost to you. PCA hours worked are tracked and paid via a fiscal intermediary, Tempus Unlimited, which is part of the Massachusetts PCA Program. Also, it’s worth noting that living with me exempts your PCA wages from federal and state income taxes.

I’m currently 46 years old and I was injured in a swimming accident when I was 22 which resulted in my C5 quadriplegia. I work from home predominantly focused on the financial markets. Over the years my hobbies have been sailing, traveling, food, and long walks on the Internet. I love a good sci-fi book. Some notable favorites are Red Rising, Expeditionary Force, and Dungeon Crawler Carl. I do enjoy video games and have a gaming PC. The last thing that made me laugh was a video where Harrison Ford told a joke about a lady looking for broccoli.
If you’re interested and serious, I look forward to hearing from you!
