Summary:
Care Medical Group is seeking a top-notch Medical Receptionist to join our team! This position requires a high level of integrity and maturity due to the nature of our business. We are a high-volume clinic and are looking for someone to keep up with our patient flow and excel in providing professional and compassionate care to every patient we see.
Hours/Week: Monday through Friday, 25-30 hours per week, occasional weekend availability as needed.
Pay Rate: Starts at minimum wage or based on experience
Job Setting: Private practice with Walk-in, Express Care service
Job Duties:
- Greeting and checking in patients and visitors
- Answering/managing multi-line phones, correspondence
- Patient scheduling, payment processing, verifying insurance, etc.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with other Administrative Staff and Medical Providers to troubleshoot issues and patient requests
- Complete records requests and process other administrative requests
- Scan and maintain documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Stocking supplies
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Participate in staff meetings and present updates on patient flow, concerns, ideas, etc...
- Support a positive team environment

Equipment Operated: Position requires the use of a multi-line phone, computer, fax machine, copier, tablets, barcode scanner, label printer, electronic signature pad, some medical diagnostic and treatment tools, and personal protective gear. Additionally, the position requires the ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
Required Education: High School Diploma
Experience Required: Experience working in a clinical setting is a plus!
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and listen attentively. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Working Conditions: Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail, with the ability to work at a fast pace. Ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs. or less.
Work Environment: Work takes place at a single location in an Urgent Care Department which is part of a multi-specialty clinic.
