At Bari Pasta & Pizza, our kitchen team works together to keep operations fast, clean, and efficient. Team members are expected to support all areas of the kitchen, including line cooking, prep, dishwashing, and maintaining organization. We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and experienced especially with Italian cuisine, who is ready to jump in wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items while supporting overall kitchen operations
- Stay productive during downtime by prepping, cleaning, or assisting with dishes
- Maintain organized walk-in cooler and freezer using FIFO (First In, First Out)
- Safely operate kitchen equipment, including slicers, mixers, dough machines, and knives
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and running efficiently at all times
- Lift and carry up to 60 lbs when needed
- Communicate clearly with team members and management
- Arrive on time and ready to work scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Previous cooking and preparation experience preferred (Italian food experience preferred not required)
- Strong work ethic with a team-first mindset
- Comfortable working with kitchen equipment and sharp tools
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
- Able to regularly lift up to 60 lbs
- Open to feedback and willing to grow

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
