The Operations Manager oversees a variety of office workplace operations. Your management should
foster a team environment that focuses on serving the customer. You will work closely with your direct
team, external customers and corporate support personnel. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure
that all office workplace operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
The Operations Manager must be quick to learn, able to find new and improved ways of completing
tasks (thinking outside the box), and able to handle change quickly while properly managing their own
stress. This person should help staff solve problems. This person should help the company stay in a
proactive state instead of a reactive state. Being in a reactive state will occur no matter how much
planning is done to prevent it, and when that happens this person should be able to assist the team
leaders in working through the problem as efficiently and effectively as possible. Being able to keep
projects on task and on time is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Daily Office Workplace Operations in the following ways:
- Workflow scheduling, monitoring of productivity and quality, process troubleshooting, and all
other activities required to ensure safety and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all receiving, storing, shipping and administrative activities to ensure office workplace
operations requirements are met.
Develop Relationships Built of Trust in the following ways.
- Develop and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational
performance goals are met within prescribed parameters.
- Hire, retain and develop a quality staff providing opportunities for advancement and
organizational growth.
Care for the Company’s Physical Assets in the following ways:
- Properly control, maintain, and protect vehicles, equipment, inventory, etc.).
- Administer preventative maintenance cycles and equipment repair as needed.
- Manage and administer budgets as needed.
- Ensure all records and reports are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained.
- Create, maintain and communicate metrics and standards in accordance with facility and
corporate goals.
- Create sustainable and innovative processes that will produce high quality results and continuously improve the overall operations.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
