Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop & Online versions to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to verify account accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions with precision.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.
- Support governmental accounting requirements and tax-related tasks by maintaining detailed records and preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate on double entry bookkeeping processes, including debits & credits, to ensure proper financial recording across all accounts.
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms; familiarity with multiple systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and technical accounting concepts.
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation & bank reconciliation.
- Experience with payroll processing, tax preparation support, and accounts payable/receivable management is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
