Mountain Top Resort is seeking to hire a seasonal full-time Facilities Maintenance worker. This position reports to the Operations Director and helps to perform duties associated with the upkeep of the resort-owned buildings as well as the privately owned homes rented to guests.
This job entails, but is not limited to:
- Maintaining the buildings and their facilities associated with the resort as deemed appropriate by Resort Management
- The safe and proper operation of all equipment and tools needed to perform job duties
- Assess issues with buildings as they arise and making minor repairs to buildings and facilities as appropriate
- Perform light plumbing, heating, electrical, and infrastructure repairs as allowed by State of Vermont building codes
- Upkeep of pool and hot tubs
- Working with subcontractors to repair issues beyond capabilities and allowance by the state
- Special projects and other tasks as needed
We are seeking candidates that:
- Have the ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Have an eye for detail
- Have some previous experience with facilities maintenance (preferred)
- Have reliable transportation
- Have the ability to work weekends if needed
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
