American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Wailuku, HI, requiring active HI licensure and a minimum of one year of recent PACU or critical care experience.

Hospital-based PACU setting in Wailuku, HI

Day shift schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

13-week contract

EMR: Epic (experience expected)

Active HI RN license required; all licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent PACU or related nursing experience

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field

Preferred: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in a PACU setting

Preferred: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with pediatric patients, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU

Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience providing procedural sedation in an outpatient setting

Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in pain management injection procedures

Preferred: Procedural Sedation Competency
