Essential Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license in California
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy exercises and interventions as planned and supervised by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Deliver one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records as required by school policies
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP regarding student outcomes and session notes
- Assist with the preparation of therapy materials and classroom integration strategies
- Participate in meetings, training, and consultations as requested
