POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the HR Director and in collaboration with both marketing and other department managers, this position’s main goal is to efficiently and effectively fill open nurse, CNA, and direct care worker positions across multiple states. This position will execute effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) or more years of experience in direct recruiting in healthcare, hospice or related industries. Working knowledge of social media and online job boards.
ESSENTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, facilitate and implement the various cycles of the recruitment process for nurses, direct care workers (home health aides) and other health professionals across multiple states, including posting job opportunities (on online job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Handshake).
- Prescreen applicants for both skills and cultural fit, ensuring they align with our patient-first philosophy.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive outreach, networking and partnerships with nursing schools and community organizations to promote the agency’s name and recruiting efforts.
- Attend and evaluate participation in job fairs and other recruiting sessions.
- Act as liaison between the hiring manager and candidate throughout the interview, offer and onboarding processes.
- Monitor recruitment outcomes, maintain monthly metrics and report outcomes to hiring managers.
- Assist in HR operations for example, onboarding, tracking compliance requirements, benefit enrollment.
- Observe CareChoice confidentiality policies and HIPAA laws at all times.
- Enforce consistently all agency policies and procedures.
- Meet attendance and punctuality expectations.
Perform other duties as required, or as delegated by upper management.

- Ability to navigate social media; ability to work with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other applicable systems.
- Ability to communicate professionally, courteously and cooperatively with potential job applicants and other CareChoice staff.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing and compliance standards.
- Ability to foster relationships with diverse persons and personalities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
