Overview
In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel valued and welcome from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience, supporting our front of house to deliver exceptional service.
This is a part-time position (1-2 days a week). Paid hourly plus cash tips at the end of each shift.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover
- Effectively communicate wait times to guests
- Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering items or utensils as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate guest seating and service flow
- Not responsible for processing transactions — manager will close checks and support the FOH.
- This position is for Saturdays daytime hours, occasional Sundays. Team member is paid an hourly wage + tips!
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience is preferrable, but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork and customer service skills
