Responsibilities of the CNA:
- Provide direct care to residents in accordance with their care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and mobility
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
- Take and record vital signs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with nurses, coworkers, and families
- Support residents emotionally with patience, kindness, and respect
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements for the CNA
- Current New Jersey CNA certification
- Genuine compassion for seniors and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and reliability
- Previous LTC or sub-acute experience is a plus, but not required
