Experienced Line Cook / Pizza Cook – My Dad’s Pizza
My Dad’s Pizza in Merritt Island is looking for a highly experienced Line Cook / Pizza Cook who is comfortable working in a fast-paced Italian kitchen.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands pizza and Italian cooking and can step onto the line with confidence.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience working in pizza shops, pizzerias, or busy Italian restaurants
- Must know how to make, mix, portion, ball, proof, and handle pizza dough
- Experience stretching and shaping pizza dough by hand
- Comfortable producing pizzas quickly and consistently during high-volume service
- Experience with Italian-American food, including pasta, chicken and veal dishes, Parmesans, Marsala, Francese, appetizers, and fried items
- Able to work multiple stations and stay organized during a rush
- Strong understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, temperatures, labeling, and rotation
- Able to follow recipes, portion standards, and plating procedures consistently
- Able to perform prep work and keep the line stocked and service-ready
- Dependable, punctual, clean, professional, and able to work as part of a team
- Must be able to handle the speed and pressure of a busy, fast-paced Italian kitchen
At My Dad’s Pizza, we make much more than just pizza. Our menu includes specialty pizzas, traditional Italian entrées, pastas, appetizers, wings, stromboli, calzones, and other house-prepared items. We need someone who understands the importance of quality, consistency, speed, and proper execution.
Dough-making experience is required.
We are looking for a cook who takes pride in their work, respects the kitchen, and understands that every plate and pizza leaving the line represents the restaurant.
