Job Summary

Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring proper table setting and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Assist servers by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly to keep the dining area tidy and inviting
- Support food handling and delivery by safely transporting dishes from kitchen to tables using proper manual handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs regularly
- Help with kitchen support tasks such as restocking supplies and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving tables, chairs, or supplies while following safe lifting practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is key
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and proper table setting procedures is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy items safely, and manual handling of supplies
- Experience with catering or hospitality industries is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable team player with excellent customer service skills who thrives on creating welcoming atmospheres
