Pay Range: $114,413 to $139,838/year
Position Summary
Masons of California is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Revenue Manager / Accounting Manager with strong healthcare and medical billing experience to oversee the full revenue cycle process and support financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience, in-depth knowledge of healthcare billing practices, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition, reimbursement management, compliance, and financial reporting.
This role requires a proactive leader who understands the operational and financial impact of billing activities on Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and General Ledger (GL) balances. The successful candidate will be willing to continuously learn, adapt, and expand their knowledge within healthcare finance and accounting operations while actively supporting day-to-day billing functions when necessary.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Revenue Cycle Management
Oversee and manage the complete healthcare revenue cycle process from authorization through payment posting and reconciliation
Manage billing operations related to:
Ensure accurate claim submission, follow-up, denial management, appeals, and collections
Perform “triple check” reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to claim submission
Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement strategies to improve reimbursement and cash flow
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, payer issues, and reimbursement delays
Accounting & Financial Oversight
Work closely with accounting and finance teams to reconcile billing activity to General Ledger (GL) balances
Assist in analyzing and understanding the impact of revenue cycle operations on Profit & Loss (P&L) performance
Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations, payer requirements, and internal financial controls
Prepare and review financial, operational, and revenue cycle reports
Support revenue integrity initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reimbursement outcomes
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise billing staff and provide leadership, training, accountability, coaching, and performance management
Foster a collaborative and service-oriented team environment
Assist with workflow development, process improvement, and staff support during high-volume periods
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance departments to resolve billing and reimbursement issues effectively

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare revenue cycle and medical billing experience
Previous supervisory or management experience required
Strong experience with:
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes
Understanding of P&L statements and GL account balances preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Experience with healthcare billing software and accounting systems preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, clinic, or senior care environments
Ability to identify revenue leakage and improve billing efficiencies
Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards
