Human Resources Business Partner Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university strongly preferred

2+ years of relevant human resources experience

General knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR systems; experience with payroll databases

Strong partnership and communication skills for collaborating with managers and supervisors

Partner with operations leaders to drive positive employee relations and retention strategies

Advise and support managers and supervisors on HR matters

Mentor and review assignments for HR Assistant

Lead recruitment, orientation, and training for all new employees

Oversee safety programs, compliance, and OSHA recordkeeping

Administer employee benefits programs and handle related inquiries

Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for management review

Support workers’ compensation protocols and assist with claim administration
