Shadick’s is looking for a friendly, reliable, energetic, 18+years old, Store Associate - Cashier to add to our team.
Ideal shift would be 2pm - 9pm, 3-4 days a week.
To be a part of our team you must have:
· Great communication skills, teamwork and excel at customer service
· Adhere to scheduled workweek, reliable and prompt when reporting to work
· Provide excellent customer service; work with customers in a courteous and professional manner
· Effectively interact with Manager and fellow employees
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
· Operate cash register and scanner to itemize customer purchases
· Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, EBT, WIC, gift certificates in accordance with company policy
· Responsible for front-end duties such as merchandising check-stand (newspapers, candy, etc)
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned
· Comply with company policies regarding cash handling/cash drawer accounting procedures, the sale of alcohol and tobacco products, etc.
· Requires long periods of time standing, bending, twisting, and reaching
* Food prep for our hot, to-go food
