Amite Christian Academy is a private Christian school and daycare that is looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Nursery Daycare Providers to work with infants to 2 - years old in our nurturing daycare setting. What You'll Do:
As an Nursery Daycare Provider, you'll be assigned a specific age group and work closely with your classroom team to care for and guide children through a smooth, safe, and fun afternoon.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a welcoming environment where children are excited to see you and feel safe and loved
- Providing age-appropriate care and activities, whether that's rocking and feeding infants, supporting first steps and words in toddlers, or leading simple arts and crafts with 2-year-olds
- Helping with diapering and potty training, based on your assigned age group.
- Serving snacks and encouraging healthy routines
- Supervising indoor and outdoor play, keeping children engaged, active, and safe
- Maintaining a clean, organized classroom and following all health and safety guidelines.
- Communicating with co-workers and parents to ensure consistency and care
- Complying with all state licensing regulations and center policies

Requirements:
- MUST be 18 years of age or older
- Love working with children
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
- Dependable and reliable
- Experience is a plus but not required - willing to train the right candidate
- Adult and Child CPR, AED and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
