James Hardie, a leader in fiber cement technology, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Peru, IL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence. As a shift Maintenance Electrician reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical/mechanical tests to diagnose issues
- Maintain and repair equipment, including conveyor systems and hydraulic components
- Track labor, parts, and machine history in plant CMMS
- Operate and service plant boiler, autoclaves, and HVAC equipment
- Provide support to resolve day-to-day maintenance issues across departments
Qualifications:
- Residential or Industrial Electrical experience required
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience/ControlLogix 5 preferred
- Experience with WonderWare or other industrial HMI software (bonus)
- Proven mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and comprehend technical literature
- Ability to read electrical schematics

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $35.40-$52.31. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits.
