Position Title: Laborer

Position Overview
The Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support maintenance operations. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, using hand tools and equipment, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while following company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Landscape & Maintenance Tasks
- Assist with the installation of plants, trees, sod, mulch, and hardscape materials.
- Perform lawn maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, edging, leaf cleanup, and debris removal.
- Operate basic equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Load, unload, and move materials such as soil, mulch, stone, and plants.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Equipment & Safety
- Perform daily inspections of tools and equipment, report issues immediately.
- Follow all company safety policies and always use proper PPE.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment on job sites and at the shop.
Teamwork & Professionalism
- Work closely with crew leaders and team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Follow directions accurately and ask questions when clarification is needed.
- Represent the company professionally at all customer properties.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability (on time, ready to work).
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Preferred
- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or labor-intensive roles.
- Basic knowledge of landscape tools and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license (not required for all positions).
- Pesticide Applicator (Registered Tech)
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays during peak season.
- Shifts begin at 7:00am and end at 3:30pm or when work is completed for the day.
- Overtime must be approved by management

Pay: $17.88 - $20.00 per hour
