State Compensation Insurance Fund’s San Diego State Contracts Legal unit is looking for an Attorney to join our talented and skilled legal team. At State Fund, we represent the insured employers and various State Agencies of California, handling challenging workers' compensation-related issues. Location:
The San Diego State Contracts Legal unit appears at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board district office in San Diego.
The successful candidates will be handling/litigating workers’ compensation cases and will make in-person and virtual appearances in San Diego.
This position will be housed at the following State Fund location: San Diego.
Your Role:

- Collaborating closely with internal and external clients
- Drafting compelling pleadings, correspondences, and communications
- Conducting thorough discovery
- Skillfully negotiating and drafting settlements
- Making confident court appearances, including trials
