Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role supports a high-precision production environment by preparing parts for painting and ensuring they meet strict quality standards. There are multiple shifts available for this specific role. You would be performing repetitive tasks that require focus, care, and strong attention to detail while standing for most of the shift.
Responsibilities

Prepare parts for painting by carefully taping and sanding components according to work orders and production requirements.

Handle all parts with extreme care, avoiding any tossing, throwing, or dropping to protect high-value components.
-
Follow detailed work orders and instructions to complete production tasks accurately and on time.
-
Use basic math skills to perform measurements, counts, and other calculations needed in the production process.
-
Inspect parts visually and with hand tools to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before moving to the next stage.
-
Perform repetitive production and general labor tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
-
Work collaboratively with team members, communicating clearly in a noisy environment to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
-
Follow all safety guidelines when working near paint booths, chemical lines, and other equipment in the production area.
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient production operations.
Essential Skills

Experience in production, general labor, or similar hands-on roles.

Ability to read and follow work orders accurately.

Experience in masking, sanding, or preparing parts for painting.
-
Background in inspection or quality-focused production work.
-
Familiarity with aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
-
Comfort working in repetitive roles that require consistent focus and accuracy.
-
Ability to adapt communication style to a loud production floor where speaking loudly may be necessary.
Why Work Here?
The organization offers the opportunity to move into a direct role and provides shift differentials for employees on 2nd, 3rd, or 4th shifts, rewarding those who support critical off-shift operations. You will join a team-oriented environment where clear communication and collaboration are valued, and where employees can build hands-on experience in a precision-driven production setting.
Work Environment
You will work in a production facility that includes paint booths and an open chemical line, where fumes can be significant in nearby masking and packing areas. Machines run throughout the day and night, creating a noisy environment where you may need to speak loudly to communicate. The dress code is casual, but sleeveless shirts and tank tops are not permitted, and closed-toe shoes are required. Construction-style footwear is preferred, especially for those working in racking, although steel-toe shoes are not required. You will be standing for most of the shift, performing repetitive tasks, and should be prepared for varying temperatures, as the buildings are not insulated.
