Williams Dedicated has an immediate opening for an experienced Safety Manager at our Michigan City, IN terminal.
Please note: this is an on-site position requiring a minimum of 2 years experience as a Safety Manager/Coordinator within the trucking industry.
Position Description:

Monitor and enforce Hours of Service (HOS) compliance

Review and act on ELD violations daily (Samsara)

Track driver behavior using camera systems and safety scores

Investigate accidents and determine preventability

Manage workers compensation, liability, and accident claims
-
Maintain DOT compliance and audit readiness
-
Oversee Driver Qualification (DQ) files
-
Conduct driver onboarding and safety training
-
Review DOT inspections and submit DataQ challenges when needed

Enforce driver discipline and safety policies
-
Coordinate with service and recruiting departments
Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience as a safety manager/coordinator within the trucking industry required

Experience with:

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- FMCSA & DOT regulations
