Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Controller to lead the financial operations within our luxury automotive division. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting related to automotive operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards specific to the automotive sector.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and regular financial report writing to provide accurate insights into financial health.
- Lead cash management activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring cash flow to optimize liquidity.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms for efficient financial data processing.
- Perform technical accounting tasks related to governmental and non-profit accounting frameworks when applicable.
- Prepare regulatory reports and ensure timely submission in accordance with legal standards.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliation processes using double entry bookkeeping principles to uphold data integrity.
- Support internal controls by adhering to SOX compliance procedures and assisting with internal audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis, account reconciliation, and strategic planning initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience in corporate or governmental accounting within the automotive or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and technical accounting practices.
- Hands-on experience with DMS accounting software such as CDK preferred
- Familiarity with non-profit accounting principles if applicable to organizational structure.
- Excellent skills in account reconciliation, balance sheet management, and financial analysis.

Pay: $85,599.09 - $103,087.09 per year
