Responsibilities
- Assist Escrow Team in all aspects of the escrow process, from initial setup to final disbursement
- Prepare and process escrow documents, including but not limited to opening packages, closing statements, deeds, and loan documents, with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and organize escrow files, ensuring all documents are properly executed, tracked, and stored in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction, providing timely updates and responding to inquiries
- Coordinate and schedule signings, notary services, and other appointments as needed
- Assist with the preparation of wire transfers, checks, and other disbursements
- Review title commitments and exception documents, identifying potential issues and escalating them to the Escrow Officer
- Ensure all necessary conditions of the escrow agreement are met prior to closing
- Assist with post-closing tasks, such as recording documents and preparing final title policies
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and personal information
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies
- Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Escrow Officer or management
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience preferred in as an Escrow Assistant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic escrow principles and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in the escrow process is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Pay range: $70,000-$85,000 base depending on experience and bonus structure
