We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Foodrunner to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings
- Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservations, and wait times while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist servers by delivering food promptly and accurately as a Foodrunner, ensuring food safety standards are maintained during transit.
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, or concerns with a positive attitude and clear communication skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and waiting areas to uphold high standards of hospitality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact courteously with guests and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math proficiency for managing reservations and balancing tables.
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper guest service etiquette.
- Organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow smoothly.
