Join Our Caring Team as RVT/procedure technician!
Our business is continuing to grow! We are a busy, established veterinary clinic in Orange looking for a new team member. We offer a beautiful, modern setting with a wonderful staff and clientele, along with a flexible schedule.
We are looking for a dedicated RVT or experienced veterinary assistant equivalent to join our friendly, ever-growing animal hospital. We are looking for someone with experience helping with dental cleanings and monitoring anesthesia during surgery. The ideal candidate would be proficient in venipuncture, catheter placement and intubation. You would have the option of leaving for the day once procedures are finished. Usually between 1-3pm.

Your Role:
As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our team, assisting veterinarians in the care and treatment of pets while ensuring a positive experience for both the animals and their owners. Your main duties will be performing anesthetic dental cleanings and assisting in surgeries once a week.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients pre- and post-surgery, including administering medications and fluids
- Perform anesthetic dental procedures, including detailed charting of oral cavity
- Assist surgeons in spay and neuter procedures, including client teaching for post-op care
- Maintain clean and well-organized treatment areas and exam rooms.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from pet owners.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current RVT certification and valid state license, if applicable.

Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time, with some flexibility for requested time off
- Salary: Competitive pay based on experience.
- Schedule: Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 10am - 5pm. Weekends off!
