Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Swiss Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC Swiss screw machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, tooling, and blueprint reading will ensure efficient production and high-quality output. Duties
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes with precision, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols
- Program CNC Swiss machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and Fanuc controls to optimize machining processes
- Interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and technical drawings to produce accurate parts
- Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC Swiss machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling with forklifts when necessary
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication, tooling adjustments, and assembly line integration to ensure seamless production flow
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC Swiss lathes or similar machining equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and tools such as Fanuc controls, CAM programming, and CAD software like SolidWorks or similar platforms
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings for precise manufacturing
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators for quality control checks
- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in tooling setup, fabrication, welding, and equipment maintenance
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC milling machines, CNC programming, and fabrication techniques is advantageous

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
