Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Fabrication Team as a Fabricator. This hands-on role involves the fabrication of custom signage using various materials and tools such as saws, welders, and CNC routers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, process-focused, and eager to grow within our team-oriented production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sign Fabrication:
- Cutting, welding, and assembly of signage components using various equipment.
- Follow SOPs to ensure accuracy and quality in all production steps.
Tool & Equipment Operation:
- Train on and use shop tools such as: Chop saws, Panel saws, Welders, CNC routers
- Observe safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions.
Workflow & Task Management:
- Learn and support fabrication workflows including inventory selection and task scheduling.
- Track task progress and help identify bottlenecks or process inefficiencies.
- Convert inventory into actionable production projects with clear deadlines and dependencies.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
- Participate in daily team syncs and project check-ins.
- Support implementation of process improvements and client communication tools (e.g., email updates).
- Build strong working relationships with coworkers across departments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in tool and machine operation.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy materials and stand for long periods.
- Detail-oriented with strong task-following discipline.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take ownership of projects.
