Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist in the Carlson Recovery Center program at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Carlson Recovery Center program with the following:
- Providing direct services and ensure the well-being of consumers.
- Overseeing client activities, produce accurate and timely documentation, and are responsible for food shopping.
- Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
- Transporting clients in their own registered and insured vehicle or program van.
- Adhering to regulations and requirements of licensing and funding sources.
Who are we?
At the Carlson Recovery Center, we believe in the unique strengths, skills, and empowerment of the individual to motivate their treatment and recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction. In our 32-bed program, adults aged 18 and older who need CSS stabilization services can receive individualized recovery supports for up to 30 days.

What are we looking for in a Recovery Specialist?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Ability to understand, empathize and work with adults struggling with problem substance use and often mental health issues.
- Competency in simple mathematics, reading comprehension, written and oral communications, following instructions, simple use of charts, reports and records.
- Knowledge of developmental stages for adult population and applies developmental theories and concepts when planning and implementing care for individuals served.
- Knowledge and skill in assisting individuals served with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) credentials (preferred).
- Valid Driver's License (required).
- Vehicle for use during all working hours should be registered and inspected in accordance with 540 CMR 4.00 (required).

Option 1: 2:45pm-11:15pm; Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, & Friday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday
Option 2: 10:45pm-7:15am; Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday
Part Time:
10:45pm-7:15am; Week 1: Sunday & Thursday; Week 2: Friday & Saturday
