We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to support engineering and manufacturing activities involving electronic and electro-mechanical systems, test equipment, prototype assemblies, and test stations.
This is a hands-on technical position ideal for someone with experience in electronics testing, soldering, cable fabrication, electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and reading schematics.
Shift:
- 4B – Monday through Thursday 4pm - 2:30am
- 3A - Friday -Sunday 6:30AM 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Build, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and modify electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Fabricate and install cables, wiring, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and electronic sub-assemblies.
- Assemble and maintain engineering test stations, cabinets, and equipment racks.
- Perform soldering and electronic assembly work according to drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, layouts, and mechanical/electrical assembly drawings.
- Troubleshoot and debug completed assemblies and test equipment.
- Use oscilloscopes, signal generators, diagnostic equipment, test programs, and specialized test apparatus.
- Assist engineering teams with the construction, testing, checkout, and modification of test equipment.
- Use hand and power tools during equipment and test-station assembly.
- Communicate and work closely with mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of related electronics, engineering technician, or test technician experience.
- IPC-610 Certified Solderer.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
- Hands-on soldering and cable fabrication experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Comfortable using electronic test and diagnostic equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree (AAS) in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent military technical training.
- Experience with In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems.
- Knowledge of GenRad, HP 3070, or Teradyne test systems.
- Familiarity with UNIX and Windows-based systems.
- Experience building or maintaining electronic test stations.
Ideal Background

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
