Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI is seeking a
IMAGING INTERN to join our
RADIOLOGY team!
The Imaging Intern is a student trainee with broad-base knowledge of general radiography science and procedures. The student may have limited clinical experience and is evolving their clinical skills. The practitioner operates various types of equipment in a progressive manner of mastery and independence. Clinical experiences occur under the general supervision of a registered technologist until competencies for their modality are met.
HOURS: Occasional; schedule based on student availability and department need
Experience/Qualifications

Current enrollment in an approved radiography program.

Previous work experience in an acute care setting is beneficial but not required.

Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
Howard Young Medical Center is an acute care facility located in Woodruff that provides a level of primary and specialty care not commonly found in a typical rural hospital.
