Associates – specialized members of the sales force. In their role, they develop new business, service existing clientele, and complete transactions regularly. Some of the specific tasks Associates should be expected to perform are to:
- Conduct marketing campaigns using a multi-channel approach including telephone, email, and personal selling.
- Promote warehouse, office, land, investment, and other commercial real estate products
- Deliver negotiation expertise, market research, and consultation services
- Meet with clientele to tour commercial real estate and provide recommendations
- Prepare transaction proposals and generate legal documentation
- Maintain a contact relationship management (CRM) system and database of information
- Oversee development of a personal business plan of action and management of all activities
- Ongoing professional development
- Associates must hold a valid real estate license as issued by the California Bureau of Real Estate
