Schedule
- 3rd shift (overnight), Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
- Sites located in Fort Worth and Dallas
- Additional shifts may be available for officers seeking more hours
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional armed security presence that deters theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other criminal activity
- Control access to the site — verify credentials, monitor entry points, and challenge unauthorized individuals appropriately
- Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies according to site procedures and use-of-force policy
- De-escalate confrontations calmly and professionally; involve law enforcement when appropriate
- Enforce site policies and post orders with tact and consistency
- Write clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Secure and inspect buildings, gates, vehicles, and equipment as directed
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Active Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer license (armed) — or the ability to obtain it through our affiliated training academy, P1 Elite Training Solutions
- Must be at least 21 years of age (per Texas DPS requirements for commissioned officers)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Legal ability to carry a firearm and maintain proficiency per DPS standards
- Reliable transportation to sites in Fort Worth and Dallas
- Consistent availability for overnight weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday, 3rd shift)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert throughout an overnight shift
- Sound judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an armed security officer, or a military or law enforcement background
- Experience working overnight or unsupervised posts
- Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV platforms, or guard management software
- Experience working in the Fort Worth or Dallas areas
- Knowledge of Texas laws and regulations regarding security, use of force, and firearms
- First Aid/CPR certification (a plus)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
