Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB ED position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

Work in the Labor and Delivery/OB ED department of a hospital setting
13-week contract assignment
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
Fetal Monitoring certification required (intermediate or advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM)
NRP certification required (current card from American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced 9th Edition)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery/OB ED
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

Additional Information

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
Provide direct nursing care to laboring and antepartum patients in a Labor and Delivery/OB ED setting
