EMT – Summer Camp (Seasonal)
Malibu Beach Camp is seeking a certified EMT to join our team for Summer 2026 at our waterfront camp in Lido Beach, NY. Spend your summer by the beach while helping create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for campers.
This is a seasonal position running from June 29 through August 20, with orientation and training dates prior to the start of camp.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM
- Full-time preferred
- Part-time/job-share applicants available at least 3 days per week may be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and medical care to campers and staff as needed
- Assess and respond to illnesses and injuries
- Maintain health records, medication logs, and incident reports
- Administer medications in accordance with camp policies
- Communicate with camp administration and parents when necessary
- Help ensure a safe and healthy camp environment
Qualifications
- Current EMT certification required
- New EMTs are encouraged to apply
- Prior healthcare, patient care, emergency services, medical office, hospital, volunteer EMS, lifeguarding, nursing student clinical, or related experience preferred
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and dependable in a camp setting
