Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technician / Janitorial Special Projects professional to join our dynamic cleaning and custodial team. Duties
- Must have valid driver license with a clean record.
- Perform comprehensive floor care including stripping, sealing, waxing, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of shine and durability.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate methods such as extraction or bonnet cleaning to remove stains and embedded dirt.
- Execute detailed janitorial tasks including trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Carry out special projects related to flooring or facility maintenance as assigned, ensuring timely completion with precision.
- Utilize environmentally friendly cleaning products and equipment in accordance with safety protocols to promote sustainability.
- Inspect work areas regularly to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly for resolution.
- Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities, supplies used, and equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or environmental services within commercial or institutional settings.
- Expertise in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing to restore and preserve flooring surfaces.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods including extraction and bonnet techniques for effective stain removal.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues clearly.
