Full-Time Security Officer Overnights
Location: Lincoln, NE | Seward, NE
Schedule: Overnights Seven Days a week 5pm - 5am
Pay: Starting at $16/hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our Lincoln team on a full time overnight shift. This role is ideal for someone who values customer service, is attentive to detail, and takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment.
This position involves quite a bit of driving and it’s about being a consistent, positive presence. You’ll interact with clients, guests, and staff, while monitoring for safety concerns and ensuring post expectations are met with professionalism and care.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a consistent and visible presence at your assigned post
- Monitor the site for any safety concerns or suspicious activity
- Greet and professionally engage with employees, residents, or guests
- Serve as a calm, approachable resource to those on site
- Document observations and incidents using mobile reporting tools
- Follow post orders and supervisor instructions
- Communicate clearly with your team and supervisor about any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
What You’ll Bring
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A professional, customer-focused approach at all times
- Comfortable using mobile apps for incident reporting
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
