Position Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Department: Resident Care
Reports To: Director of Resident Care and Programming
Position Specifics: Part-time (approximately 15–20 hours per week). Flexible schedule with ability to support multiple sites and events.
Starting Hourly Rate ($19-$22/hour) DOE

Position Summary
The Part-Time Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Resident Care Program at Agape House. This position delivers high-quality administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth, efficient operations across multiple program sites. As the first point of contact for residents, families, volunteers, donors, and community partners, the successful candidate will embody professionalism, compassion, and discretion while helping families achieve housing stability. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and deeply committed to the organization's mission of providing trauma-informed care and support services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Provide proactive administrative support to program leadership and case management staff
● Manage calendars, schedule meetings and events; prepare agendas, take minutes, and handle follow-up
● Prepare, proofread, edit, and maintain correspondence, reports, policies, and program materials
● Oversee office operations including phones, email, mail, filing, databases, and supplies
● Greet and welcome families, volunteers, and partners with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
● Maintain confidential records in compliance with agency policies
● Support resident intake, scheduling, documentation, and reporting
● Facilitate communication across multiple program sites
● Provide support for ministry events and organizational initiatives
● Perform other duties as assigned to advance the mission
Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
● Two or more years of administrative experience preferred
● Experience in nonprofit or human services preferred
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud applications
● Experience with databases preferred

● Demonstrated compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity when supporting families experiencing housing instability

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to operate computers, telephones, printers, and other standard office equipment
