COOK MANAGER
ELEMENTARY
Salary: As Per Contract

Qualifications:
- Must have successfully completed the Food Service Manager Training Course through Nassau County Board of Health
- Good computer skills, knowledge of Excel preferred
- Experience in large scale cooking preferred
- Must have full fingerprinting clearance
Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):
- Promotes district’s nutritional standards
- Maintains high standards, i.e., adhering to all HACCP, DOH, and food safety guidelines
- Supervises the cafeteria, e.g., overseeing the cafeteria operations and food service helpers in the building
- Food preparation for all meal programs
- Take inventory
- Prepares bank deposits and deposits money
- Maintain records of all sales and transactions
- Keep accurate records for all pertinent documents and information
- Utilize knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Clean and maintain equipment per NYSED and Department of Health standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the School Lunch Director or their designee
Location: Connolly Elementary School
Time: 7 Hours Per Day

Pay: $34,931.00 per year
