Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician, with strong Scribe experince to join our Ophthalmology practice.
Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans during ophthalmology visits.
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including taking vital signs, IOP, refractions, dilations and diagnostic testing such as VF, OCT, etc
- Utilize EMR systems such as Nextech to document patient information
- Scribe or be willing to learn how to scribe for Doctors in practice
Requirements
- Six months to one year experience preferred. However extensive training will be provide for the right candidate that fits the values and operation of our practice.
- Ophthalmic and/or optometric full patient work up AND Scribe skills in an eye care clinic
- Customer service skills
- Experience working with patients
- Experience in all aspects of ophthalmology, COT or COA preferred.
