Join a fast-paced manufacturing team as a Packaging Equipment Operator responsible for operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment, supporting setup and production, and ensuring accurate batch documentation in a regulated environment. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and commitment to safety and quality, with potential for full-time conversion.
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: (Mon-Wed) 5:45am-4:30pm (Thu) 5:45a-3:30p
Type of Job: 1 year contract with potential for extension/permanent placement

Packaging Equipment Operator Daily Tasks: What you will do:
- Operate packaging equipment including printers, coders, labelers, vision systems, tray assemblers, heat tunnels, dryers, and forklifts.
- Assist with setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
- Complete batch records, product reconciliations, and production documentation accurately.
- Perform data entry for packaging activities, downtime tracking, and production yields.
- Request and manage packaging materials, components, and production supplies.
- Maintain waste materials in designated storage areas and comply with hazardous waste procedures.
Packaging Equipment Operator Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience (3+ years preferred).
- 12+ months of packaging or similar production experience preferred.
- Ability to operate, set up, and troubleshoot packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
