Overview: We are seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, care plans, working with people with developmental disabilities, home care, conflict management, patient care, HIPAA regulations, vital signs monitoring, and childcare.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a home or community setting
- Monitor and document individual progress and behavior
- Coordinate services and activities to meet the needs of each individual
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address the holistic needs of individuals
Skills:
- Strong background in senior care and working with people with developmental disabilities
- Proficient in creating and implementing care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
- Ability to manage conflicts and solve problems efficiently
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and healthcare protocols
- Experience in childcare or related fields is a plus
