Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our logistics and distribution team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within our warehouse facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock levels and update records accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves and managing inventory flow
- Assist with shipping logistics, including preparing shipping labels, documentation, and trade compliance documentation for international trade regulations
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using data entry skills
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and warehouse procedures at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests or external inquiries professionally
Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse operations. Specific skills and knowledge include:
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software such as AS400 or ERP systems
- Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Competence in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other warehouse equipment safely
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance procedures is advantageous
- Ability to perform data entry efficiently while maintaining high accuracy standards
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, picking & packing activities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for reporting purposes
- Experience working with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or AS400 is beneficial
